Elewana lists 12 tented accommodations, including one two-bedroom family tent. Canvas-covered floors, rugs, writing desks and period-style lamps give the rooms their character. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a flushing toilet, basin and hot shower, plus a covered outdoor sitting area. The 2027 rates distinguish Safari Tent sharing, single and triple configurations from the Family Suite total for two adults and two children.
Pioneer puts the surrounding plains at the centre of the stay. The kopje setting lifts the outlook, while the canvas rooms and furnished awnings give the camp a smaller, more informal feel than a large lodge. Meals and time on the sunset deck break up the driving day. Its appeal is the relationship between camp and landscape, rather than an extensive list of resort facilities.
The camp arranges drives in custom 4x4 vehicles, with picnic outings for longer days. A hilltop picnic site, sundowners and balloon flights can be requested in advance. Guided walks appear in the activity schedule and remain subject to eligibility and conditions. Game Package bookings include scheduled shared drives, a two-hour guided walk, Seronera transfers, sundowners and the sunrise rock breakfast; other experiences must be checked separately.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining tent, while lunch can be planned in camp or as part of an outing. Outdoor and camp-fire dining give the evening a different pace when conditions permit. Full Board covers the main meals, selected drinks and laundry. Bush meals and other special dining arrangements have their own inclusions or charges, so they should be named in the proposal.
The two-bedroom family tent provides an option for parents who want separate sleeping rooms within the same accommodation. The rate schedule calls this the Family Suite and quotes a unit total for two adults and two children. Additional occupancy is by request and may change the price. Share children's ages before confirming rooms, activities and whether the available shared-drive arrangements suit the family.
Seronera is the camp's designated airstrip. Elewana describes the drive to camp as approximately 50 minutes, although road conditions and wildlife stops affect the journey. The flight connection and transfer should be planned together with arrival and departure times. Seronera transfers are included with the Game Package; Full Board guests need a separately confirmed transfer or a wider guided road itinerary.
