A private journey, clearly held
How booking works
The quiet work behind the journey: attentive listening, exact route design, clear commitments and a local team beside you from first thought to homecoming.
The Sail method
Personal by nature. Precise by design.
There is no anonymous booking engine. The person who learns how you wish to travel remains close to the decisions that shape it.
- 01
Listen
You share the shape of the journey: dates, people, pace, interests and the moments that matter. A Sail designer replies personally, usually within one working day.
- 02
Shape
We test seasons, distances, permits, flights and the character of each stay, then prepare a private route and transparent proposal rather than placing you into a fixed package.
- 03
Hold & confirm
Once you accept the proposal in writing, a 50% deposit is payable within seven days and confirms the trip. We then secure the services and issue confirmation.
- 04
Finalise
The final balance is due no later than 60 days before departure. We gather traveller details, refine the practical layer and prepare route-specific documents.
- 05
Travel
Your journey is operated from within East Africa, with local coordination and 24-hour in-destination support while you travel.
Payment at a glance
50% to confirm. The balance 60 days before departure.
A booking confirmed within 60 days requires full payment at confirmation. The deposit is not automatically non-refundable: if you cancel, Sail's published cancellation schedule determines the amount retained and any refund due. Any journey-specific supplier condition is identified before you commit.
