The migration is always moving
The wider Serengeti–Mara ecosystem supports a year-round cycle. Calving, long movements and river periods each bring a different mood; resident predators and plains wildlife remain essential to a strong plan.
Crossings cannot be scheduled
A camp near a river increases access, not certainty. Herds can wait, retreat or cross away from expected points. A private vehicle, patient guide and enough nights are more valuable than an overconfident guarantee.
Design for a complete safari
Choose habitat, guiding and camp character you would still value if the headline moment does not occur. That is how a migration itinerary remains excellent rather than anxious.
