The friendlier truth is that pressure is lower: chimpanzee inventory is deeper than gorilla inventory, and dates are rarely the knife-edge that Bwindi's sectors can be. The discipline stays; the panic goes.

Standard tracking runs from Kanyanchu in morning and afternoon sessions, and the choice shapes the route day around it: a morning session pairs with an afternoon crater-lakes drive, an afternoon session absorbs a late arrival from Queen Elizabeth country. The minimum age for standard tracking is 12, checked against passports.
The habituation experience is booked as its own product with its own conditions and tariffs, and it is not an upgrade of the standard morning but a different day entirely; the client conversation should say so before the file does.

On the NETT file
The permit sits on a NETT proposal exactly as a gorilla permit does: a park-authority line at the authority's published figure, passed through without markup and collected when UWA requires it. The advisor's commercial layer lives in the journey, never inside the park fee.
Receipts are held on file, named to the traveller, and available to the advisor on request. When gorilla and chimpanzee permits share a file, the two payments and the two receipts are tracked side by side; one desk holding both is what keeps the calendar honest.

A chimpanzee session booked before the gorilla date is fixed, forcing the route to bend backwards. Each has the same cure: fix the gorilla date first, verify names against documents, and confirm the chimpanzee product and session with UWA before it appears on any client-facing page. The order of operations is the SOP.
