Rwanda can place Volcanoes National Park within a compact highland route from Kigali. Uganda opens multiple Bwindi sectors and can connect naturally with Queen Elizabeth, Kibale or the country's quieter parks. That surrounding geography often decides the answer.
Access and atmosphere
A shorter transfer is not automatically a better safari, and a more remote road is not automatically more authentic. We assess the time you have, the stays you value and how much landscape you want to experience between chapters.
Permit reality
Permits are date-specific and limited. Age, health and park rules apply, and availability must be checked before any lodge or flight is treated as confirmed.
