The national reserve
The reserve holds classic wildlife country and key river geography. It can be exceptional, especially with precise timing and a camp chosen for the area you intend to explore.
The conservancies
Private conservancies can offer fewer vehicles, night drives, walking and different land-benefit models. Rules and wildlife access vary, so the term alone is not enough.
A considered combination
For some dates, joining reserve access with conservancy space creates the strongest contrast. For others, one well-chosen base prevents needless transfers. We decide from season and priorities.
