Day by day
Days 1 to 2 · Stone Town
Begin with the old quarter: a private walk through Swahili architecture, the market before it fills, and the harder history told without varnish. One or two nights are enough; the coast waits.
Days 3 to 6 · Zanzibar south-east coast
The south-east lives by the tide: a lagoon at dawn, a reef morning when the water is right, village life threaded along the shore. Four nights let that rhythm become your own.
Day 7 · Departure
A private transfer to the airport closes the journey, timed with margin rather than haste.
Two expressions, one journey

A Sail planning perspective
The south-east's lagoon empties at low tide; swimming follows the tide table and Sail shares it in advance. The dry months from June to October and December to February are the most dependable.
