Service Description

Day 1: Arrival On Arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Should time permit you may visit the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe. Day 2: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park After breakfast, you will fly from Kajjansi Airstrip to Murchison Falls National Park located in north-western Uganda. On arrival you will undertake a game drive as you drive to your Lodge. The park through which the river Nile flows provides one of Uganda’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles and remains Uganda’s largest National Park. In the afternoon you will have another game drive. Day 3: Game drive and Boat ride After breakfast you will have a game drive while in the afternoon you will take a boat ride on the River Nile to Murchison falls, from which the National Park derives its name. Here, you will enjoy the spectacular waterfall where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter-wide gap and plunges 45m over a rift valley gorge and at the bottom bask huge Nile crocodiles. Chances of spotting large herds of buffaloes Day 4: Fly to Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast you will fly over the equator to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park. Lying in the Rift valley, the park has a diverse array of ecosystems which include Savanna, Tropical Forests, lakes and wetlands making it a prime home to big game, ten primate species and over 600 Species of Birds. Depending on your arrival time in the National Park you will have a game drive in the afternoon Day 5: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain Forest also attracts spectacular birds and chimpanzees. You have an option of taking a stroll through the unique landscape of this national park. Alternatively, walk to a village of the indigenous Batwa pygmies or enjoy a nature walk to Munyaga waterfall, this charming waterfall is located in the heart of Bwindi forest. You should have a good night’s sleep so you can be fit the following day and well rested for gorilla trekking. Day 6: Gorilla Trekking You will get up early to prepare for the gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Day 7: End of Safari.

Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy for Sail Adventure Safaris To ensure a seamless and transparent experience, our payment terms and cancellation policies are designed to adhere to international travel standards and safeguard the interests of both clients and service providers. Payment Terms 1. Deposit Payment: • A 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required to confirm your booking. This deposit secures your accommodations, safari permits, park fees, and other services. • For specialised packages, such as Kilimanjaro climbing permits or gorilla trekking permits, chimp trekking permits, a 75% deposit is required as these permits are limited and non-refundable by issuing authorities. 2. Final Payment: • The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the start date of your trip. • For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking to ensure all services are secured on time. 3. Payment Methods: • Payments can be made via international bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. Please note that any associated transaction or bank fees are the responsibility of the client. • All payments must be made in USD or an agreed equivalent currency. 4. Booking Confirmation: • Your booking is considered confirmed once the deposit (or full payment for late bookings) is received and you receive a written acknowledgment from Sail Adventure Safaris. 5. Non-Refundable Items: • Gorilla permits, Kilimanjaro permits, and any flight tickets booked on your behalf are strictly non-refundable, as per local regulations in East Africa. Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellations by the Client: • More than 60 days before departure: The deposit will be refunded, minus a 20% administrative fee and any non-refundable costs incurred, such as permits and third-party fees. • 31-60 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded, excluding non-refundable costs. • 30 days or less before departure: No refund will be issued due to the inability to resell services such as accommodations and permits on short notice. 2. Cancellations by Sail Adventure Safaris: • If Sail Adventure Safaris cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., operational challenges), you will receive a full refund, excluding non-refundable permits or third-party costs. • Alternatively, we will offer to reschedule your trip to a later date at no additional cost, subject to availability. 3.
